Biography

An amazing all-rounder and an equally good entertainer, Neesham would’ve been a National hero in New Zealand by the end of the 2019 World Cup, if not for that theatrical end. Neesham made his debut for the Kiwis in the T20 format back in 2012 against South Africa after a string of good performances in the domestic T20 tournaments.

A destructive left-hand batter and a right-arm pacer, Neesham could provide those runs at the death, while also possessing the ability of coming up with the ball when needed. In the T20 format, Neesham has played over 200 games with an impressive 175 wickets and just 2983 runs with the bat.

He has also played over 140 games for the Kiwis, picking up 108 wickets and 2806 runs. He has been a part of 5 IPL teams in the part, including the erstwhile Delhi Daredevils team.
