Biography
A pacer from Durban, Dupavillon has represented various age-group categories in the South African domestic circuit. With the ability to clock in speeds in excess of 140 kmph regularly, he’s considered an asset for any team’s bowling line-up.
He first broke out onto the scene when he picked up eight wickets in the Sunfoil Series against Knights in 2015, which helped the Dolphins to a huge 242-run win. Dupavillon’s maiden first-class cap came in 2013 against NorthWest in the CSA Provincial Three-Day Competition at Potchefstroom. A hard working bowler, Daryl’s ODI debut came against Australia on March 7, 2020, in which he picked up the wicket of Australian skipper Aaron Finch and conceded just 21 runs from his six overs.
Daryl is a regular in first-class, racking up 218 wickets in 71 games. He has a good return with the white ball as well, picking up 45 and 54 wickets in the List-A and T20 formats respectively.
