Biography
A fearless batter and a lethal hitter of the ball, ‘Bozie’ has the ability to clear the field with ease, which makes him an exciting T20 specialist. Aged 25, the left-hander averaged 49 in first-class cricket in the 2008-09 season, 60 in List-A in 2009-10, and nearly 48 in Twenty20 and was also a part of the Warriors side which reached the 2010 Champions League final.
Ingram made his first International appearance in a T20I against Zimbabwe in 2010 before going on to break a few records with a century on ODI debut against the same opposition. The hard hitting middle-order batter has played over 300 games in the shortest format of the game, scoring over 7500 runs and 4 centuries under his belt.
He joins the Pretoria Capitals in their inaugural season of the SA, with his middle order capabilities set to bolster the side's batting in the final phase of the tournament.
